St. Katharine Drexel Named Best Private School in Bucks County

September 13, 2018HOLLAND, PA: St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School has been named the “Best Private School” and “Best Pre-School” in Bucks County, PA by readers of the Bucks County Courier Times. Nominees included many area private elementary and high schools.

The Bucks County Courier Times collected ballots for the competition and 343,842 votes were cast to determine the winners of each category.

St. Katharine Drexel’s Principal, Laura Clark, was delighted to hear the news. “We are so grateful to all of the wonderful people that voted for SKD! We are blessed to have a 1:1 technology initiative, a state-of-the-art digital media center, a dedicated faculty and staff, standardized test scores in the top 15% in the country, and a support system like no other.” Clark said “All of this helps to form our good name in the community – but we are not driven by results alone. We focus instead on relationships with our students and building an unrivaled school culture – The results are simply a byproduct.”

Earlier in the year, St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School was recognized as a finalist for the “Best Private School” and “Best Elementary School” categories in the Bucks Happening Magazine’s Happening List.

Daniel Clifton, the school’s Advancement Director, said “To be recognized by The Courier is truly an honor. It demonstrates the commitment our school has to our students, our families, and our Mission to form Catholic Leaders through academic excellence, personal discipline, and Christian service.”
